              Welcome to The Victorian Sim

              Hello All!

My name is Sharon and this is my Website, The Victorian Sims; a place where I share my love and obsession for The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and the Victorian Era.  On this website you will find stories, creations, fun facts about the Victorian Era,  and links to other websites sharing the same passions for the Sims games as well as the Victorian era.

For those of you who have no knowledge of the Sims game itself, I will share it with you.  The Sims is a game simulator where the player has complete control of the simulated person's (which is called a Sim) life.  You have the power of directing these mini simulated humans to do your bidding, while at the same time you must also take care of the Sim in making sure that their daily needs (i.e. food, cleanliness, social life, etc) are taken care of.  The Sims games is not for everyone.  If you like the whole fact behind playing god, or having control over a simulated character, then this game is for you.

Within The Sims 2 game, you have a much broader approach at having your hand at being artistic.  The Sims 2 gives you freedom to create a world, or create things and parts of the sims and their world.  No matter what you want, whether it be clothing for the sims to wear, furniture to adorn their homes, or decorative items and play things to keep them entertained, you can just about do it all.  Not only can you do these things,  but the more of the games and expansion packs you collect, the more personalized your sims become and the more interactions they get to share amongst each other and entertain you, the player.

On this website, I have taken my love for playing this game, and my great obsession for the Victorian era and have put them together as one and have decided to share them with whomever is interested.  But my two passions have collided beautifully together and from all the artists and creators who have done such a wonderful job in the items and clothing that they've created, something wonderful had finally happened to me.  My inspiration for writing returned!

Just here recently I have been bitten by the writing bug.  I became apart of a few Sims 2 and Sims 3 community websites and a lot of the websites have a section where you can create stories using the Sims 2 and Sims 3 game and share them with other community members.  With my great interest with the Sims 2 and my obsession with the Victorian Era, I suddenly had the idea of putting them together and creating a novel-like story.  Most of the websites that I chose to share my story wouldn't let me do it in full version and other sites just kept rejecting some parts of my story.  I don't know why, but there isn't any nudity or curse words.  Perhaps my story hits home or some parts were just too depressing for some viewers.  But anyway, if you don't mind some parts of my story being depressing or truthful, then you can read the chapters of my story here in its full entirety.

If you are interested more about what this website is about then you can read the other parts to this website.  Have fun while you are here and thanks for coming!

Please pardon for the messy nature of this website.  It's fairly new and still under construction!  So please bare with me, I'm doing the best I can considering the fact that this is my first website.  :)

              Enjoy it anyway!
